This late bloomer from Germany picked up a banjo at age 39 and inspired by Appalachian music started playing a style of Gospel music he dubbed Kellergospel. He draws lyrical inspiration from his life’s experiences and American Gospel and combined with his lispy German accent creates an eery and intriguing music uniquely his own.
